The Book of Songs, in 載馳, has the lady 控于大邦, appeal to the great state for rescue, the word at once a cry for help and a charge against the wrongdoer. 控 is the accusation flung upward, the lawsuit as a shout, and the lady who shouted it was really indicting her own brothers, who had done nothing and would never forgive the rhyme.
