handmade.ink (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and the choices you have. Contact us at support@handmade.ink.
1. Information we collect
- Account & contact data: the email address you provide when creating an account or purchasing.
- Purchase records: which calligraphy glyphs and variants (Original, Production, Transfer paper) you buy, order references, amounts, and currency.
- Download activity: when a file is downloaded, we log the glyph, variant, timestamp, and associated account for license compliance and support.
- Payment data: payments are processed by our payment partner Creem. We receive confirmation of payment but do not store full card numbers or CVV. Creem’s own privacy policy governs that data.
- Technical data: standard server logs (IP address, browser, date) and essential cookies required for the cart and login.
2. How we use your data
To fulfill orders, deliver downloadable files, send your receipt, provide customer support, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.
3. Cookies & analytics
We use strictly necessary cookies for shopping and authentication. We may use privacy-friendly analytics to understand site usage. You can disable non-essential cookies in your browser.
4. Data retention
We keep order and download records for as long as your account exists and for any period required by tax or commercial law, after which they are deleted or anonymized.
5. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (for example GDPR or CCPA), you may access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, email support@handmade.ink. We respond within statutory timeframes.
6. Children
The site is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data.
7. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted here with a revised date.

Payment processing
Payments are processed by our Merchant of Record, Creem (Armitage Labs OÜ), which collects payment, calculates and remits applicable taxes (including VAT, GST and sales tax), and issues your invoice. Creem acts as the reseller of record for your purchase; we do not store your card or payment details. See Creem’s own Terms and Privacy notice for how they handle your payment data.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete the personal data we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, or with any privacy question, contact us at support@handmade.ink. We respond within a reasonable time and in line with applicable law (for example, GDPR for EU residents).
