宣 · Zhong Yao
Xuān (1st tone). The Shuowen reads 宣 as 「天子宣室也。从宀𠄢声」 — ‘the Son of Heaven’s 宣 chamber; from 宀 and 𠄢 (phonetic).’ 宣室 was the emperor’s private, far-flung hall — so 宣 means to spread, proclaim, make visible. The Odes use it for displayed gl $9.00 – Purchase Checkout Added to cart
