砥 · Ouyang Tong
Dǐ (3rd tone). The Shuowen Jiezi does not enter 砥 as its own head-entry; it has 厎 「柔石也」, and notes 「砥，厎或从石」 — the fine, soft whetstone, written with a stone radical instead of a cliff. The Kangxi dictionary says so plainly: 「《說文》本作厎，或作底」. S $9.00 – Purchase Checkout Added to cart
