浪 · Wang Xizhi (v2)
浪 (làng, 4th tone) was originally a place, not a wave. The Shuowen Jiezi: 「浪，滄浪水也。南入江。从水，良聲」 — the Canglang river, flowing south into the Jiang. That river carries one of the great ethical songs of Chinese literature, preserved in both 《楚辭· $9.00 – Purchase Checkout Added to cart
