Xù (4th tone). The Shuowen on 敘: 「次弟也。从攴余聲」 — ‘order, sequence.’ The Documents praise 「天敘有典」 (《書·皋陶謨》) — Heaven ordains the proper order; the Rites govern 「以官府之六敘正群吏」 (《周禮·天官》). Later 叙 also means ‘to narrate’ (敘事) and ‘to converse’ (敘舊). S $9.00 – Purchase Checkout Added to cart
