坦 · Cheng Miao
Tǎn (3rd tone). The Shuowen Jiezi defines 坦 as 「安也。从土旦声」 — ‘at ease, settled; from 土 (earth) with 旦 (daybreak) as phonetic.’ The picture underneath is level ground at first light. The Analects give it its moral weight: 《论语·述而》 「君子坦荡荡，小人长戚戚」 $9.00 – Purchase Checkout Added to cart
