廉 · Shi You
Lián (2nd tone). The Shuowen defines 廉 as 「仄也。从广兼聲」 — the sharp edge, the side; from the roof-radical with 兼 as sound. It first meant the side wall of a hall (「堂之側邊曰廉」), then the corner, then moral edge — integrity. The Rites of Zhou grade $9.00 – Purchase Checkout Added to cart
