宅 · Zhang Zhi
Zhái (2nd tone). The Shuowen reads 宅 as 「所托也。从宀乇声」 — ‘that on which one relies / the place one lodges; from 宀 (roof) and 乇 (phonetic).’ It is the dwelling that holds a life. The Odes settle it into statecraft: 《诗经·大雅·文王有声》 「考卜维王，宅是镐京」 — ‘th $9.00 – Purchase Checkout Added to cart
