宠 · Zhang Zhi
Chǒng (3rd tone). The Shuowen reads 宠 (寵) as 「尊居也。从宀龙声」 — ‘an honoured dwelling; from 宀 and 龙 (dragon, phonetic).’ It is favour lodged like a dragon in the roof — to be graced, preferred. The Daoist canon warns on it: 《道德经》第十三章 「宠辱若惊」 — ‘fa $9.00 – Purchase Checkout Added to cart
