尹 · Zhang Zhi (v2)
Yǐn (3rd tone). The Shuowen reads 尹 as 「治也。从又丿，握事者也」 — ‘to govern; from 又 (hand) and 丿, the one who grasps affairs.’ It is the hand that holds the reins of order — an official, a governor. The 左传 honours a model: 《论语·公冶长》 recounts 「令尹子文，三仕为 $9.00 – Purchase Checkout Added to cart
